Course Overview
A Fellowship in Neonatology provides advanced training in the care of critically ill and premature newborns. The program covers neonatal intensive care, managing respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and complex medical conditions in infants. Fellows gain hands-on experience in life-saving interventions, neonatal resuscitation, and developmental care, preparing them to provide expert care in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
What you’ll learn
- Mastery of managing critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU, including respiratory support, cardiovascular monitoring, and nutritional management.
- Expertise in performing neonatal resuscitation during high-risk deliveries and emergencies, following the latest Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) guidelines.
- Skills in diagnosing and managing congenital abnormalities and genetic disorders affecting newborns, including multidisciplinary care.
- Proficiency in managing respiratory distress syndrome, using mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and ECMO, as well as handling neonatal cardiac conditions.
- Training in diagnosing and treating neonatal infections such as sepsis, meningitis, and respiratory infections.
- Knowledge of neonatal nutrition, growth monitoring, and developmental care strategies to promote healthy outcomes in preterm infants.
Eligibilty & Requirement
- MBBS MD/ MS/ DNB/ DCH (Paediatrics)
- No previous experience is needed.

IT was a gud expeience but the curriculum was in depth..rest things were great.. i ve learned various things lyk managing ill and premature newborns, (that the toughest part) 😓. not only this I ve lean use of mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and ECMO and many more..
