Course Overview
A Fellowship in Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy provides advanced training in minimally invasive surgical techniques for diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions. The program emphasizes proficiency in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, allowing for faster recovery, reduced scarring, and improved patient outcomes. Fellows gain hands-on experience in treating conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and infertility, preparing them for leadership roles in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
What you’ll learn
- Mastery of minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques for treating gynecological conditions like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and pelvic adhesions.
- Expertise in performing hysteroscopic procedures to treat intrauterine pathologies such as polyps, fibroids, and uterine septa.
- Skills in performing complex laparoscopic surgeries such as myomectomy, hysterectomy, and tubal surgeries with precision.
- Training in minimally invasive techniques for diagnosing and treating infertility, including laparoscopy for tubal evaluation and hysteroscopy for uterine abnormalities.
- Expertise in the excision and management of endometriosis through laparoscopic surgery to relieve pain and restore fertility.
- Proficiency in performing surgeries that preserve fertility, such as laparoscopic cystectomies and myomectomies.
- Skills in using intraoperative ultrasound and other imaging techniques for enhanced surgical precision.
