Course Overview
A Fellowship in Critical Care offers specialized training in the management of critically ill patients, focusing on life-saving interventions and advanced monitoring techniques. The program covers intensive care unit (ICU) procedures, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and the management of multi-organ failure. Fellows gain hands-on experience in managing complex cases, including trauma, sepsis, and cardiac emergencies, preparing them for leadership roles in critical care medicine.
What you’ll learn
- Mastery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and other life-saving interventions for critically ill patients.
- Expertise in initiating and managing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation for patients with respiratory failure.
- Skills in using advanced hemodynamic monitoring tools to assess and manage cardiovascular function in unstable patients.
- Training in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with multi-organ failure, including liver, kidney, and respiratory support.
- Proficiency in managing sepsis, implementing infection control measures, and administering antimicrobial therapies in the ICU.
- Experience in managing trauma cases, including head injuries, chest trauma, and other critical emergencies requiring rapid intervention.
- Understanding the nutritional needs of critically ill patients and implementing enteral and parenteral feeding protocols.
Eligibilty & Requirement
- MBBS/ MD/ MS/ Equivalent
- No previous experience is needed.
